Penile filler questions, answered straight by the doctor
Is it dangerous, does it hurt, how many cc, how long does it last, what does it cost. Short, direct answers before you decide.
Legal and safety
Is this legal in Thailand?
Yes, if all 3 conditions are met: a doctor injects, in a licensed medical facility, using Thai FDA-registered filler. If any one is missing, it is illegal. Wherever you go, ask to see all three licence numbers.
What does off-label mean here?
It means HA fillers registered in Thailand are indicated for the face. Injecting them elsewhere is off-label use, which doctors may do at their professional discretion and must take responsibility for. We explain this before you sign, every time.
Is penile filler dangerous? What are the risks?
There is risk, as with any procedure. Common: swelling, bruising or a palpable lump, which settle or the doctor can correct. Rare but serious: infection, a blocked blood vessel leading to tissue death, and material travelling to block a vessel elsewhere, which can be life-threatening. The Safety page has the details and what we do to reduce the risk.
Who should not have it?
Men with a wound or infection in the area, who bleed easily or take blood thinners, who have reacted to HA or local anaesthetic before, and men who expect more than filler can do, such as length.
I had silicone or paraffin injected before. Can I have filler?
You need an ultrasound first. In most cases the old material has to be dealt with first, which usually means surgery. We do not inject filler over silicone or paraffin, because it raises the risk of inflammation and makes repair harder.
Which filler brand do you use?
Only Thai FDA-registered HA from licensed distributors. On the day, the doctor opens a new box in front of you so you can see the product name, registration number and lot.
Procedure and recovery
Does it hurt?
Very little, because a local anaesthetic goes in first. The anaesthetic injection stings like any needle. After that, most men feel only tightness.
How long does it take?
About 90 minutes from walking in to going home. The injection itself takes 20–30 minutes. The rest is waiting for the anaesthetic and resting under observation.
Can I go back to my hotel or work the same day?
Yes. You can go home and do desk work the same day, but no sex, heavy exercise or soaking in water for 14 days.
How long must I avoid sex?
14 days. The gel is settling during this time. Friction or hard pressure risks moving the gel and causing infection.
Can I consult online first?
Yes. Message privately on LINE or WhatsApp, or book a video call with the doctor. Before any injection, though, you are always examined at the clinic first.
Results
How much size can I gain?
We cannot give you a number in advance, because the same cc gives a different result in each man. Filler mainly adds girth. The doctor looks at your skin and anatomy and tells you the realistic result at the consultation.
Does it increase length?
No. Filler adds girth only. For length, the doctor explains the options and their limits straight.
Will it affect erection or sensation?
It is not designed for that. Filler sits under the skin and does not go into the tissue involved in erection, so we do not claim it helps or changes function. If you already have erection problems, see a doctor about them first.
How long does penile filler last? Is it permanent?
It is not permanent. Results usually last 12–24 months, then the body gradually breaks the HA down on its own.
Will I need top-ups?
To keep the result, yes. Top-ups usually need fewer cc than the first session. The doctor checks this at follow-up.
Can it be removed if I do not like it?
Yes. The doctor injects the enzyme hyaluronidase, which dissolves HA within a day. This is the key difference from liquid silicone and paraffin, which have to be removed surgically.
Price, privacy and travel
How much does penile filler cost?
From 24,900 THB / 10 cc, including anaesthetic, ultrasound and follow-up. The final price depends on the number of cc the doctor finds suitable on examination, and it is always given in writing before injection.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Records are kept under Thai medical facility law and the PDPA. You can check in with a nickname, and nothing is disclosed without your consent.
How many days should I stay in Thailand?
At least [XX] days, so the doctor can see you for follow-up before you travel home.
Repair
I had oil or silicone injected. Can it be repaired?
Yes, but it usually needs surgery. It starts with an ultrasound to see the extent of the substance, then the doctor plans with the specialist team and refers you for surgery.
My filler faded early or became lumpy. Can it be fixed?
Yes. If it is HA, the doctor dissolves the problem spots with an enzyme under ultrasound, then re-injects.
I don't know what was injected. What should I do?
Have an ultrasound first. It gives an initial distinction between HA, silicone and oil. Painless.
Circumcision
How long does circumcision take to heal?
The wound heals well in 2–4 weeks. Back to normal life in about 4–6 weeks, once the doctor has checked the wound and given the go-ahead.
Can I have circumcision and filler on the same day?
Yes, if the doctor examines you and agrees. She goes through the pros and cons against doing them separately first.
