Repair of Intimate Filler, Liquid Silicone and Foreign Substances
A good number of patients come to the doctor because filler, or some substance, injected elsewhere has become lumpy, migrated, turned uneven or inflamed. Intimate filler repair starts with finding out what is inside. Only then does the doctor plan whether to dissolve, treat with medication, monitor, or refer for surgery.
What problem are you facing?
Filler that is lumpy, migrated, uneven or too large
If it is HA, it can be corrected in clinic: targeted ultrasound-guided dissolving, then re-injection

Other common problems
Permanent or counterfeit filler
Chronic inflamed lumps, even years later. The substance is identified before any plan is made.
Darker skin after injection or inflammation
The cause is found first, then skin-tone treatment is planned alongside the repair
Uneven skin after repair elsewhere
Assessed to decide whether to add, adjust, or wait for the tissue to settle first
HA filler can be dissolved with an enzyme. Liquid silicone, oil and permanent fillers cannot. Rushing into a repair without knowing what is inside can make the problem worse than before.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I look the way I did before after repair?
It depends on the substance, how much there is, and how long it has been in the body. The doctor examines you and tells you plainly, before starting, what result is realistic.
Does every case need surgery?
No. Most problems from HA filler are corrected by dissolving. Liquid silicone or oil that is causing symptoms usually needs surgery, for which we arrange referral to a surgical team.
If I have no symptoms, do I still need it removed?
Come for an assessment first. Some women have no symptoms yet, but the substance may cause problems later. The doctor will tell you whether to monitor it or correct it now.
